Day 01
Nairobi to Old Moses Camp (3,300m)
Depart Nairobi for Nanyuki for lunch and acclimatization. Proceed to Sirimon Gate and begin a 3-hour trek through the rainforest and bamboo zone to Old Moses Camp. Enjoy your first night under the mountain stars.
Day 02
Across the Moorlands to Shipton's (4,200m)
A steady 6-7 hour trek across the expansive moorland. Cross the Ontulili and Liki North rivers before ascending into the Mackinder Valley. Shipton's Camp offers dramatic views of the main peaks, Batian and Nelion.
Day 03
Acclimatization & Alpine Exploration
A vital day for success. Take a short trek to Hausberg Lakes or Oblong Tarn to help your body adjust to the thin air. Spend the afternoon resting and preparing your gear for the midnight summit push.
Day 04
Summit Push: Pt. Lenana to Old Moses
Wake at 2:30 AM. Under torchlight, climb the frozen scree to reach Point Lenana by sunrise. After the celebration, descend to Shipton's for breakfast and continue down to Old Moses Camp for your final night on the mountain.
Day 05
Final Descent & Farewell
An easy 2-hour walk down to the Sirimon Gate. Receive your climbing certificates and meet your transfer vehicle for the drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.
